How to pick the right Salon for you!

Everyone wants to look their best, and everywhere you look these days, there seems to be a Salon, so how do you know which one is best for you?
There is a lot to take into consideration when asking yourself this question. We have tried to make it a little easier for you with a short list of five helpful hints to get you on your way to finding your new Salon home.
1. Services
First, check out the list of all services the Salon provides. Are you someone who values your time? Can you get all your beauty services in the one place? Maybe you want a Salon that specializes in certain types of hair extensions. Basically, what we are trying to say is "Does the salon you are looking at, cater to your needs?"
2. Location Location Location. Obviously, you want to find a salon with a great location or, more importantly, a great location for you! This can mean for some a salon with parking. For others, it may mean somewhere close to their job so they can swing by on an extended lunch break or even having an early day, they can pop in on the way home. Maybe it needs to be somewhere close to public transport.
Whatever it is make sure it fits your lifestyle and schedule.
3. Experience It's important to know what experience your Stylist has in the service you are considering. That being said, you may be surprised by some Stylist only having a few years' experience and excelling ahead in their field.
Another area we recommend with experience is further education. It's crucial in keeping update with the latest trends and current information. Heading to the Salon's website is one way to check out the Stylists or other Service Providers, to read background information on each individual in the Salon. If you can't find a website, then call and ask for the front desk, as they can provide you with this information. Lastly, head to their social media. Often enough, you can look at their work via social media platforms.
4. Recommendations Word of mouth is actually one of the best ways to get recommendations, good or bad. Even asking a random stranger and can be helpful, especially if they seem to be wearing your color or style you are after. Most people are not shy in sharing their favorite Service Provider in a Salon/Spa.
Review sites like Google/Yelp can also be helpful. Usually, a review will have the name of the Service Provider they have received a service from and if you are lucky, they may have shared a photo of the service.
5. Book a free consultation. We recommend booking a free consultation or maybe even a deep condition so you can really take in the Salon. Take everything in. Is the place friendly. Do they pamper you and make you feel special? Is it your type of atmosphere? Did you feel like the Stylist understood your needs? Did you talk budget? Did the Stylist talk about hair history? Do you feel like you walked away from the Salon confident, that this is your new Salon?
We hope this has helped you in your search of the "right Salon." Here at TresImage our goal is to make you happy by giving you quality service and results. And remember, we are more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Just shoot us an email, call the front desk or leave us a comment on social media.
